Summer LSAT Course

Our summer LSAT class offers powerful, well-timed preparation for those who plan to take the LSAT in August, September and/or any other Fall exam, positioning students nicely for the Fall application cycle.

Former attorney and longtime LSAT instructor Matt Hamm uses a deeply researched, systematic pedagogy to prepare students for the recently updated LSAT exam and its two core sections: Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. During the 20 hours of in-person instruction, Matt will teach students to identify and attack the 21 Logical Reasoning question types and 5 Reading Comprehension passage categories. In addition, Matt will prepare students for the revamped LSAT Writing portion of the exam, allowing opportunities for practice and feedback.

To earn high LSAT scores, students must understand and draw inferences from nuanced texts, analyze and evaluate evidence-based arguments, and master the formal conditional logic used throughout the exam. MJ Test Prep’s LSAT course will equip students with the skills they need to excel at each of these tasks.

The intensive curriculum includes full LSAT exams, isolated exam sections, and question-type practice sets. By the time they complete the course, students will have tackled over 50 LSATs worth of material, including 1000+ Logical Reasoning questions and hundreds of Reading Comprehension passages.

This class is designed for serious students who are committed to raising their scores by completing all the demanding course work. Matt will administer a pre-class LSAT diagnostic to determine students’ readiness. Those who score significantly below 150 on the diagnostic may struggle with the pace of class instruction and the intensity of the workload. For such students, personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions with Matt may offer a better path to LSAT success.
