Providing Students with Accessible Testing Opportunities

"The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures that individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to fairly compete for and pursue such opportunities by requiring testing entities to offer exams in a manner accessible to persons with disabilities. When needed testing accommodations are provided, test-takers can demonstrate their true aptitude."  Read more at ada.gov/resources

To receive testing accommodations on standardized tests, students will have to apply with the proper documentation directly to the administer of the exam. In most cases, students petition for accommodations that they receive for their academic exams. These accommodations may include but are not limited to extended testing time, additional breaks or testing over multiple days. Approval of accommodations will impact test recommendation so be sure to discuss this with your tutor or MJtestprep staff.
