DESMOS Crash Course
Designed to help students learn the most important ways to utilize DESMOS
DESMOS is a digital graphing calculator built directly into the official SAT. This powerful tool can simplify and accelerate your work on the math section, helping students solve problems more efficiently and save valuable time for the exam’s most challenging questions.
In this crash course, students will learn the core features and shortcuts within DESMOS while working through real SAT math questions that demonstrate when and how to use the calculator strategically. The course is designed to help students improve both speed and accuracy by recognizing opportunities where DESMOS can turn difficult problems into manageable ones.
All students may start in the DESMOS Foundation course with the option to move on to the Advanced course as they make fewer mistakes in the math section and need to target the end of the second math module.
Student's participating in this session will bring a laptop or can borrow a Chromebook upon arrival.
